Comments and feedback from skippers and crew who enjoy our regatta.
Some great feedback from “The Stig” Port Macquarie Yacht Club New South Wales. …………………And, they are coming back again.
Well we've just got home & put Fury Road to bed, we had a great time, well organised & a credit to all involved. Great to see familiar faces each year we feel like locals. Maz ( Beach Manager)
“Thanks……… I must say that I am extreemly impressed with the whole KOG organisation.
"This is the best regatta I have sailed in for years. The racing is fast and competitive and the social program in the marquee on the marina lawns is just brilliant".
"A big thanks for holding the event, my crew and I enjoyed all aspects of the event. It was tough at times for us but it made us try harder and sail in conditions a little challenging for the boat. Thanks to the race committee, I accept that they had to make some tough calls and appreciate their patience. We hope to do it again next year and drum up some other trailer sailors to participate."
"Once again you are so quick off the mark with information flow and the thank you. The KOG event was absolutely excellent. Comradery, friendship, banter, competition, social events, organised meals and the list goes on. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you and every person involved in the organisation and running of the KOG 2017 event. This was my first and am looking forward to coming back next year. Please pass on my sincere thanks to all involved. I can certainly say that all my crew had an amazing time."
"This event is organised by the multihull association and is open to multi and mono hull sailing vessels - 26 boats entered. This is one of the best regattas going around - the sailing includes racing and cruising categories and the social program is packed with
organised activities each night." FROM AN ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER
"The evenings were a great opportunity to mix with other skippers and crew as everyone was staying at the Pt. Vincent Marina, which had a large marque in place all weekend. The multihull association arranged catering 2 nights in the marque, a trip to the Pt. Vincent Sailing Club one night, and final presentation night."
