George Owen wins his third multihull "King of the Gulf" crowns

Fury Road (George Owen) the DIAM 24 trimaran from Queensland won the 2018 C H Robinson $1,000 King of the Gulf regatta with 18 points, 2 points clear from Carbon Credit and another 2 points clear of Crosshair. George was always able to keep his smaller trimaran close enough to the carbon trimarans to generally place well on handicap. It was a spectacular record with flat water good winds and very high speeds. In one race Carbon Credit averaged 18 knots.
