Just hear a snippet of news that we hope will be confirmed.
Tony Considine’s new carbon fibre TF10 trimaran Mad Max seems likely to be making the 2019 King of the Gulf regatta it first regatta hit out. How exciting will that be. We also hope that Morticia which is the current Adelaide Lincoln race record holder will compete as well.

Fury Road (George Owen) the DIAM 24 trimaran from Queensland won the 2018 C H Robinson $1,000 King of the Gulf regatta with 18 points, 2 points clear from Carbon Credit and another 2 points clear of Crosshair. George was always able to keep his smaller trimaran close enough to the carbon trimarans to generally place well on handicap. The design work of the 2018 King of the Gulf shirts have been completed by Adelaide clothing company "Rallypoint". The shirts are long sleeved and have a UV protection factor of 50 plus. We think they continue the King of the Gulf tradition of having the best regatta shirts around.
